Gather AI FAQs
Didn’t find an answer on your question?
Yes. We are able to use TiHi stacking pattern information from the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to estimate case counts to the nearest complete layer.
Our computer vision reads inventory information, including LPNs, UPCs, text, lot codes, and more from the images captured by the drone. This inventory data is then compared with what is in the WMS or ERP. The results are displayed on the Gather AI dashboard where operators can view time and location-stamped images of the inventory, and review matches, empty locations, and exceptions to make informed decisions to correct discrepancies.
The drone flies autonomously. With our solution, a drone operator selects the mission and places the drone in the aisle where the mission is to be flown. The drone flies the selected mission without support from an operator. A single operator can fly up to 3 drones at once, to maximize efficiency and throughput.
Prior to every flight, the drone calls for the most up-to-date version of the WMS file. The WMS information can be shared with an automated CSV file upload or a direct integration. If an old WMS snapshot is detected, the mission is rejected and the Operator is prompted to update the WMS snapshot.
Yes, our solution is versatile and can handle various storage configurations. Our image analysis algorithms interpret images to provide accurate inventory data, regardless of specific storage methods.
